1) I am going to Mexico City, specifically, I will arrive in Gustavo A. Madero. I will go to the city in late autumn and return in mid-spring. My trip will be by bus, approximately two hours. I will be staying at the Hotel Madero because it is cheap, clean and close to shopping centres with easy transportation.

2) I think the weather will be mild, it will probably be very hot during the day, so I will bring an umbrella and comfortable clothes.

3) The environmental programme is called Reto Verde. It is a programme aimed at increasing environmental humidity based in Mexico City. The aim of the programme is to have a greener city and to make the population of the CDMX aware of the reforestation process.

4) After a week in Gustavo A. Madero, the activities I have already carried out are:

Monday: I have already read the practical manual for revegetating urban green areas. 

Tuesday: I have already selected the place to plant. 

Wednesday: I have already attended the preparation courses for the proper handling of tools and treatment of plants. Thursday: I have already obtained the working tools and the organic fertilisers.

Friday: I have already learned to use my tools in a test territory.

5) During the rest of the autumn until mid-spring, I will organise with the rest of the volunteers and programme managers to calculate how many trees we will need. I will buy the trees from the nurseries recommended by SEDEMA. I will plant trees and shrubs. I am going to go to nearby neighbourhoods to invite them to participate and learn about reforestation.

Today we are going to El Vivero de San Luis Tlaxialtemalco in Xochimilco, Mexico City

We are going from April 14th to April 20, we are going to stay at the Tláhuac Hotel, is 24 minutes (7.5 km) away from our principal destiny

I personally think that the weather in those days will be sunny, around 26-30º C. I hope it doesn’t get too hot

The name of the program we are going to be part is called “Reto Verde”. The propouse  of this proyect is to reforest the city and the rest of the country, with this, we hope to help the planet and slow down the damage the contamination 

During our journey we have made a lot of activities, we have already water the plants, also we planted some of them around the place, we have already prepared some fertilizer 

We have already planned places in the city to get plants plantes, and at the end of the day we have already got dinner and we went to sleep

We are going to help recover part of the biodiversity and por the last days of the trip, we are going to take care of the plants, take a walk, look after the animals that live there

I’m going to Mexico City bound for the mayor of Iztapalapa

 I’m going to stay in a hotel

The weather will be cloudy since it is already its season

I already have vegetables

I already picked up the trash

I already cleared the place to plant

I already planted trees

I already separate the garbage

I will plant vegetables

I will water the trees

I will recover the plastics and separate them

The aim of the program is to have greener city and to matie the population of the CDMX of the reforestation process 

I’m going to Mexico City by bus, right to the Alvaro Obregón mayor’s office, I’m going to stay in a hotel near a park

According to the weather application, this will be a rainy day since there is a hurricane,  Darby and likewise the next few days will be rainy and cloudy

I have already removed the grass and lessened the earth

I have already watered the area we will use

I talked to people to come and help reforest

We already plant plants and trees to help environment

I will take care of and check the planted areas 3 time a month
